Linus Ekenstam Reviews Limitless AI Pendant – A Glimpse Into the Future of Wearable Memory

The Limitless AI pendant is a neck-worn device that records audio, identifies speakers, and summarises conversations using AI.

Swedish tech influencer Linus Ekenstam has sparked fresh interest in wearable artificial intelligence after sharing a detailed 24-hour review of the Limitless AI pendant. The pendant, developed by Limitless AI, is a small, neck-worn device that records audio, identifies speakers, and summarises key moments using AI. Ekenstam’s series of tweets, posted on April 29, 2025, provided insights into how the device performs in everyday scenarios and suggested that this category of technology could soon become a mainstream tool for memory enhancement and productivity.

According to Ekenstam, setting up the pendant took less than two minutes. The device comes with a QR code that, once scanned, allows the user to download an app which instantly recognises the pendant. He added his voice to the app’s profile so it could easily tag him in conversations. The pendant itself was worn around the neck using a lanyard included in the packaging. Once powered on with a two-second button press, the device began recording immediately and continued to function smoothly throughout the day.

Battery life proved to be one of the most impressive aspects of the pendant. Even after over 12 hours of continuous audio recording, the device still had 23 percent of its battery remaining. Ekenstam praised its lightweight design, noting that it was barely noticeable during use. He also emphasised its reliability by recounting an unexpected stress test: during a major power outage in Spain, the pendant managed to record more than eight hours of conversations without any interruption, despite the blackout lasting the entire day.

Once 5G connectivity was restored, the pendant slowly uploaded all the recorded data. Ekenstam later opened the app and was stunned by what he found. The device had created a highly accurate and coherent diary summary based on the day’s conversations. He remarked that this capability could fundamentally change how people document and reflect on their lives, describing the feature as both powerful and deeply personal. With a little refining of the prompts, he believes the AI diary can become an essential daily tool.

Throughout the review, Ekenstam was transparent about the nature of his engagement with Limitless AI. He confirmed that the pendant was not gifted or sponsored, stating that he paid full price including import duties and shipping. This makes his observations especially valuable as they stem from an independent user perspective. He described the product as a “super power” that helps him remember, reflect, and make tactical improvements based on previous behaviour.

Ekenstam also hinted at a broader trend in personal computing, suggesting that OpenAI and other major players may be exploring similar innovations. He called the Limitless pendant the beginning of a new product category and predicted its long-term relevance. For now, his verdict is clear: after just one day, he cannot imagine living without it. His review offers an early look into how AI-driven memory augmentation might soon become part of everyday life.
